An experienced corporate and investment lawyer specializing in foreign investment, public procurement, and real estate law, advising international clients, government entities, and startups on business structuring, joint ventures, and regulatory compliance.

Alessandra qualified in Italy in 2005 and, subsequently, was admitted as a Solicitor (England & Wales). She has been based in Oman since 2008 and has worked as counsel at the Omani office of an international US law firm Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle. Alessandra is primarily based out of the firm's affiliate office in Oman.

She has been involved in a number of major assignments for both local and international clients, including foreign investors, government owned entities and funds. She routinely advises and assists foreign investors wishing to do business in Oman throughout all stages of the proposed investment, including structuring advice, establishment of local entities and business set up.

She also assists entities tendering for government contracts on all aspects of public procurement, relating formalities and contractual issues. She worked on numerous local projects in sectors ranging from food security to tourism and real estate, including matters relating to usufruct, legal mortgages, mining concessions and foreign ownership of real estate with a special focus on Integrated Tourism Complexes. She also provides advice and assistance to a number of local tech start-ups from the set up of the business to the investment phase.

In close co-operation with the dispute resolution lawyers of the firm, she assists a number of clients, particularly international companies, on Omani Labour Law matters, providing advice on all aspects of employer-employees relationships with particular reference to businesses in the construction, industrial and Oil & Gas sectors.

She has contributed several chapters on areas relating to her practice in various international publications and remains a regular contributor to the World Bank "Doing Business" guide.
