Mr. Mahmud specializes in corporate and commercial law, currently advising clients on a range of commercial matters at MAR Law. His work spans legal drafting, contract review, and regulatory compliance for domestic and cross-border transactions.

Prior to joining MAR Law, Mr. Mahmud was part of the research team at Courting The Law, contributing to legal content and analysis for the platform. He also gained in-house experience at Asia Insurance, where he researched insurance law, case law, and regulatory standards to support the organization's legal strategy.

During his time at university, Mr. Mahmud worked across several law firms, gaining exposure to both transactional and dispute-related work. At Mandviwalla and Zafar, he conducted research on tax and civil law matters, supporting case preparation and legal opinions for senior counsel. At Haidermota & Co, he worked on matters involving liquidated damages, competition law, and cross-border repatriations, assisting with the drafting of memorials on complex commercial issues.

Mr. Mahmud holds a BA-LLB from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). He is fluent in English and Urdu.
